Get involved with any / all of our Current Ministries:
We voluteer with the local Habitat for Humanity chapter about every 6-8 weeks. Over the past year, we have tar-papered roofs, framed interior walls, wrapped for stucco, painted, installed crown molding, finished landscaping, and anchored ceilings... All with no injuries to report!
"Habitat for Humanity is creating homeownership opportunities for people and families with the help of this community. We’re building together because we believe that a community where everyone has a decent place to live is a matter of conscience and action."
There are a few requirements:
a) You must pack everything, prior to our arrival.
b) You must rent a large moving truck as we don't use our own vehicles.
As these services are normally quite expensive, we will accept donations on behalf of our favorite charities (listed below): 6:8 Ministries, 12x12 Love Project, & the BVSA.
Over the past two years, we have led several short and long term mission teams to Costa Rica and we currenly support 6:8 Missionaries as well as sponsor children in their School Uniform Program. Visit the website: www.68ministries.com
The 12x12 Love Project Builds is a ministry in Guatemala that builds houses for families that live in tin shanti's. We have helped them build a house in the past and we are currently raising money to pay for the construction costs of another home. Their goal was originally to build 12 houses for 12 families in 12 months. As of today, they have built 41 homes in the past 36 months. Visit the website: www.1212loveproject.org

Big Brothers Big Sisters
We serve as Big Brothers for some of the most wonder Little Brothers in the whole world! These young boys are wonderful individuals, full of life and an optimism, but living in difficult situations. As such, a few of our us have been blessed with the skills necessary to fix computers, printers, home networks, theater systems, etc. and so we offer up our services to anyone in need, free of charge. Everybody hates moving. To the extent that it's been said that you find out who your real friends are on moving day. Since our mission is Inspire, Empower, & Engage, we seek to help out when people need it the most... Buena Vista Sports Academy
In order to change a community / society, you first have to change the men. And that is exactly what Deep Stream Ministries and the Johnson Family are working to do in Guatemala through the Buena Vista Sports Academy for Boys... Raise up an entire generation of Real Men through gospel teaching, discipline, sports ethics, and education. The vision and implementation is 100% the work of God.
