Does God Live In The 4th Dimension?

All of the sudden, you hear a voice from within your room, that says, "Do not be afraid...I am a visitor who has come to tell you something important!" You look around, and you see no one. Nothing but brown. But then all of the sudden, you see this:

Followed by this:

And gradually becoming this:

Trembling, you say to the Visitor, "Ah-ha! I see now that you are a long and skinny oval and that you were turning just now. But tell me, Oval, how did you appear in my house! This is a closed room!!"

"I am no oval and I was not turning", replied the Visitor.

"Please go. Get out of here!!!" You shout in fear.

"As you wish."

And just like an oval turning, your view of him shrinks and shrinks, but this time very quickly.

You shout again to him. "You are an oval! You're a liar! But to your astonishment, the visitor disappears from view:

"Thank goodness. Leave me alone, oval ghost!!"

"I'm still here. And by the way, I am not an oval ghost. I am called a sphere." The voice sounded like it was from right inside the room, but the Visitor was nowhere to be seen.

You shout into your empty room. "Sphere, how did you appear and then disappear from my closed room! Tell me, I must know."

"I am a 3-dimensional being."

"A what? What does that mean? I only know of two dimensions. Length and width. What are you talking about?

The visitor replied, "Your eyes were designed to see one-dimensional lines and understand them as two- dimensional space, and your body interacts with two-dimensional space. I am here to tell you that there is a 3rd dimension for beings from a different existence than you, and it is called height. In my world, my eyes see 2-dimensional images of length and width, and I understand the space around me to be  3-dimensions. My body interacts with a 3-D world.

"And not only this," the visitor continued. "But when I look down into your world, I can see inside your house, and inside your neighbor's houses.  I can even see you have money stored inside your safe that you think is enclosed all around in all dimensions. But I tell you, from my perspective looking from this 3rd-dimension I can see your money is only enclosed around in a perimeter, but the "top" of your safe is exposed! And I can even reach in and grab it! Here have a look!"

And immediately after saying this, the money that was in your safe suddenly appeared in your room. You are completely astonished that he took the money out of your enclosed safe and then made it appear outside of it.

You exclaim with excitement, "I don't believe it! Or at least, I do not understand!"

"Trying to picture a dimension beyond your own as almost impossible to do. Let me take you for a ride."

And with that, the sphere descended to intersect with the Flat World plane again, and from your vantage point you see that same gradual appearance:

Now back in the room, Sphere takes you by the hand. "Ready? One two, three, blast off!!"

You feel incredibly dizzy, and disoriented, but you finally figure out how to look down. "Unbelievable! I can see inside everyone's house. I can see what everyone is doing! I can even see what they have in locked drawers!"

You look up at the sphere and finally understand how magnificent he is in all his glory and what a 3-dimensional object really means. The sphere replied, "Blessed are you that you see, and believe. Even more blessed are those that do not see, and yet still believe".

The next day, you try to tell all your friends about what just happened. They do not understand what you attempted to describe. They ask you to draw it. You are unable to draw it. And no one believed...

Three dimensions:

Here we have a 2-D image of a simple square. It's actually the side of a 3-dimensional cube but you don't know that until we give you another 2-D image from a different angle.

Now that we have turned it, we can see that it is 3 dimensions. Note that as a 2-D representation, the red face and the green face don't appear to be square-shaped but trapezoidal, but, in fact, they really are square-shaped. This is important.

Here is one more rotation, this time tilting the cube down.

As you see, we can grasp a 3-D object in our mind by looking at a series of 2-D "projection" images from different angles.

Now we all know about the 3rd dimension already... We understand it as our existence and can feel it in our hands. We see 2-D images with our eyes (two of them), and we build in our minds a 3 dimensional reality. Also, we can place a 2-D image on a TV or computer screen or a create a photograph or drawing/painting, and by looking at the shading, shadows, perspective, or motion (motion reveals views from other angles), we can infer the 3-D reality that was represented.

Four dimensions:

    Now, imagine translating the previous story about the sphere to someone in our land of three dimensions having a revelation of the 4th dimension... from a visitor who comes and speaks to you. But he is not above you, not below you, not to the left of you, not to the right of you, and not behind you or in front of you. Imagine that this being can see into your house! Imagine the being coming into your closed room as a 3-dimensional person.  Imagine him disappearing again, taking money out of your locked safe, and then making it appear right before your very eyes!

     Think about it... Is God in the 4th dimension, or even higher? Is this how he can see into our house, our locked rooms, and see everyone and everything at once? Is this how the resurrected Jesus suddenly appeared into the disciples upper room? (Luke 24:36-37) Is it how numerous angels appeared before people in the Bible?
