About Real Men Defined

What We Believe:

We believe that families, communities, and societies as a whole are at their best when Real Men lead lives that Inspire, Empower, and Engage the people around them to love and serve one another as Jesus Christ called us to do. We believe that you Honor God by Serving Others and you Serve God by Helping Others and that our Actions speak louder than our Words. Lastly, we believe that through a true brotherhood of respect, trust, accountability, and growth, we can change the world for the Glory of God..

Who We Are

We are a group of regular guys, who love sports, camping and spending time with our friends and families.  We each desire, aspire, and perspire to become everything that God designed us to be, and we know that we can't do it alone. Even if we could do it alone, we wouldn't want to... For as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17)

Mission Statement:

To develop a movement of Real Men that Inspire, Empower, and Engage the World they Live In for the Glory of God.

Foundational Verses

John 3:17 - "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

Proverbs 27:17 - "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."

John 15:5 - "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

Background:

In the Spring of 2009, after reading a book called "Holy Discontent" that was given to me by a close friend, I specifically identified that the one thing that I could not tolerate was "standing idle" in the midst of a "luke-warm" church.

Deep within my soul, God has planted a desire to be a part of church community that is "on-fire" for Jesus and His will for us to "Love our neighbors as He loved us." Deep down, I want to be in concert with a group of Jesus-followers (not just believers) that are moving together, in tandem, toward His will. I want to be part of "The Crash". I want to be part of a "revolution". But I can't do it alone...

At present, our society is apathetic towards church and God and Jesus. And men are setting the example. But that's not what we're called to be! We're created in His Own Image! We're supposed to be on-fire! Thus, the reason for this initiative... I'm here to make a call for all the Real Men to join together and LEAD this Movement!

The Time is Now, Our Faith, Our Families, & Our Futures are at stake, and there are only two choices.
